My name is Saranya Burri. I began my educational journey at Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Gurukulam in Kavali, Nellore District, and later earned an associate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from T.R.R College of Technology, near Hyderabad. My passion for learning drives me towards obtaining a degree in science. Teaching has been my calling since 2018, greatly influenced by my mother, who was an exceptional teacher. She inspired me to pursue a career in science education. Building a positive relationship with my students is something I value deeply, along with imparting the importance of education, morals, and ethics. I begin each class by revisiting our previous discussions, ensuring that all students are up to speed on the topic at hand. I'm not hesitant to reiterate key points from past lessons if necessary, gradually introducing new concepts through real-life examples. Encouraging questions from my students is crucial to me, and I equally engage them with queries of my own at the end of each class.
My primary goal as a teacher is to alleviate any concerns my students may have about the subject, aiming to make their learning experience more enjoyable. I am committed to seeing every student succeed academically. This year, I will be teaching middle school science and leading the robotics team at Tamtam's Robotics School, looking forward to inspiring and guiding my students through their studies and projects.
I'm Naga Lakshmi Thota, a proud graduate of Acharya Nagarjuna University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Science (BSc) in 2013. Since graduation, I've been dedicated to teaching across various institutes within the Palnadu area, and in May 2023, I embarked on a new journey with Tamtam’s Robotics School. I've been fortunate to learn from remarkable educators, Mr. Sambaiah Anisetty (affectionately known as swami master), the founder of Geetha Gurukulam, and Mr. Subramanyam sir. They were not just my teachers but my “Gurus,” guiding lights in my path to becoming an educator. Mr. Subramanyam’s teaching methods, which made complex concepts easily understandable and memorable, particularly inspired me to pursue teaching.
In my classroom, active participation is key. I teach mathematics by linking concepts to real-life scenarios, encouraging an engaging and interactive learning environment. I begin each lesson by revisiting the previously discussed topic, ensuring a strong foundational understanding before moving forward. Weekly tests are a staple in my teaching method, supporting the belief that mathematics becomes simple and intriguing once understood, but remains a puzzle if not. My approach involves direct engagement with students through questions and active participation, celebrating their successes to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
For students facing challenges, I take extra care to reinforce the basics, ensuring no one is left behind. My ultimate aim is to enlighten and share knowledge, making mathematics not just a subject to be studied, but a fascinating world to be explored and understood.
Hello, my name is Shahana. I firmly believe in the pivotal role of education in everyone's life as it opens our eyes to the world and the realities within it. I hold the conviction that every student possesses innate intelligence and potential. It's my commitment to support, motivate, guide, and assist them towards their path to success. As a teacher, I am dedicated to standing by students who may struggle, fostering an environment where participation is encouraged and perfection is not expected. I believe that learning is an ongoing journey, and preparation today is indeed the foundation for tomorrow's achievements.
I advocate for the inclusion of sports within the educational framework, as it promotes interaction, friendship, and teamwork among students. Beyond academic knowledge, I emphasize the importance of moral values, guiding students to discern and choose what is right. In my role, staying informed and knowledgeable is non-negotiable, aiming to benefit my students to the fullest. My overarching goal as a teacher is to impart the right knowledge and encourage students to discover and hone their unique abilities and skills.
My name is Shayamala Kurakula, and initially, I didn't have much interest in pursuing a teaching career. However, everything changed when Kumar Swamy Sir entered my life during my 7th-grade math class. His passion, motivation, and use of real-life examples sparked my interest in becoming a teacher. Thanks to his inspiration, I am now a mathematics educator.
I strive to emulate Sir's approach by incorporating real-life examples into every lesson I teach. By doing so, I aim to not only engage my students but also leave a lasting impact on them. I encourage my students to actively participate by relating the topics to their own lives before diving into the lesson. This approach ensures that the concepts stay with them long after they leave my classroom.
Teaching isn't just a job for me; it's a source of immense satisfaction. Witnessing my students succeed and thrive in their future endeavors brings me immense joy. While many professions may lack fulfillment, the gratification I experience as an educator is unparalleled.
